Action Man and the wildeone pondering the map and future routes with the Abrupt one looking over all. It is not a big hill but has interesting access routes.

It is very odd to see so water in the creeks and actually flowing.

Our wander to the peak was curtailed by very slippery lichen on the big ramp up. So of us were men of action on the way down.

A return to Mt Abrupt last weekend. Day 1, let's walk in the rain all day. Day 2 the rain clears over the Rocky Out Crops as we go for a wander to the peak.

Queens Birthday Weekend Wander 2007
The blue dots was the plan and the yellow the actual. Well as actual as you can get a couple weeks after the event. A great wander with huge views 360. The Mt Sinnett to Mt Abrupt leg will be the last to complete a 2 year bit by bit traverse of the Heysen Range peaks and troughs. Found a yellow rock footed wobilee at the top of the ridge just South of Bunyeroo Gorge. And the usual tribe of goats at camp #1.

Mt Picton, the wildeone and self check out the tent site. Alas we did not have time to stay overnight. Maybe another tassie trip.
